In the 1950s, Fred Samuel discovered the exceptional nature of gemstones and colored diamonds, becoming the favorite jeweler of the princes of the Middle East. Fred Samuel passed his passion for sailing and rowing with his sons. In 1966, his eldest son took a risk no designer had dreamt of: he braided marine cables, secured both ends to a buckle and gave the creation to his wife as a gift. So began FRED’s signature and expansive Force 10 collection. The 'Pain de Sucre' collection was first launched in 1996 and was refreshed in 2013, using an innovative jewelry-making technique: models with interchangeable cabochons. Desirable rings in generous sizes with sensual lines, whose three gold colors and 25 stone cabochons play an infinite game with light.  In 1995, Fred began the second chapter of its story by joining the LVMH group. Today, the House continues to bring together and perpetuate an unconditional love of gemstones, pearls and light through its sun-drenched collections.
